This testimony highlights God's healing power during a time when my wife and I were desperate for relief from chronic pain.

Two years ago, my wife's health began to deteriorate, and she experienced escalating chronic pain over several months. Despite spending thousands of dollars on doctors, medical tests, procedures, and various therapies, pinpointing the cause remained elusive.

Her condition necessitated medical leave from work due to her inability to function with such intense pain. We both endured immense stress and emotional turmoil, feeling helpless as our attempts to find relief proved futile.

Fear gripped me as I contemplated the possibility of leaving our jobs and finding a way to care for my wife. We both would spiral into fear and anxiety about the future. She taped Scriptures about healing throughout our home, while I rented a wheelchair to take her to church conferences in hopes of receiving prayers for her recovery. Despite my involvement in healing ministry, my prayers brought no improvement.

I believed God could heal, but I kept asking, "why do we have to go through this?"

I was desperate for God to intervene because we had exhausted all other options. I distinctly recall watching a livestream of a church service on YouTube, where the speaker prophesied healing within 140 days. Holding onto this prophetic word, we stood firm in our belief that healing would come.

We stood on a prophetic word that healing would come in 140 days.

God presented me a greater challenge during prayer, prompting me to host a healing prayer service every month. I initially dismissed the idea as absurd and questioned my sanity blaming it on desperation and grief. Nevertheless, I pushed through. I felt like a fraud and hypocrite as I preached about God's healing power while witnessing my wife's suffering; writhing on the floor in pain and crying out with tears for relief.

Then the tide of the battle began to change and I saw God move!

Then, a breakthrough occurred. One Sunday morning, my wife woke up with diminished pain. We informed her doctors, who were astonished by her improvement. Despite being told by others that her condition was incurable, we witnessed God's miraculous intervention. Just like that it went way.

Trust in God's faithfulness, and believe for Him to do the impossible.

God accomplished the impossible, teaching us to never doubt His sovereignty, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. This testimony serves as a testament to His faithfulness and a source of hope for those enduring trials.

May this testimony inspire faith in times of adversity. Even in our lowest moments, God reveals Himself and strengthens our faith in remarkable ways. Trust in Him, persist in seeking Him, and never give up hope.

During this time I often didn't have words to pray besides, "God, heal my wife." I found great peace in praying through the prayers found in a book called the Valley of Vision.

This is a prayer I prayed frequently:

The Valley of Vision

Thou hast brought me to the valley of vision,
where I live in the depths but see thee in the heights;
hemmed in by mountains of sin I behold thy glory.

Let me learn by paradox
that the way down is the way up,
that to be low is to be high,
that the broken heart is the healed heart,
that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit,
that the repenting soul is the victorious soul,
that to have nothing is to possess all,
that to bear the cross is to wear the crown,
that to give is to receive,
that the valley is the place of vision.

Lord, in the daytime stars can be seen from deepest wells,
and the deeper the wells the brighter thy stars shine;

Let me find thy light in my darkness,
thy life in my death,
thy joy in my sorrow,
thy grace in my sin,
thy riches in my poverty,
thy glory in my valley.
